COMPANY BIOGRAPHY
HGC was formed in 2003 through the buyout of a residential contractor. Our presence in the commercial market began through a small remodel for the Fort Greely JOC Prime Contractor, KUK/KBRS Alaskan Venture. From the beginning, we have placed an emphasis on producing a quality product from its inception to its completion. Building upon that initial experience, we have successfully competed for and performed multiple projects for KUK/KBRS; the BOS Contractor, Chugach Alutiiq JV; and various other customers. To date we have worked for most Prime Contractors and agencies on Fort Greely including the Cold Regions Test Center, the Garrison, the 49th Missile Battalion, the US Space and Missile Defense Command and the Defense Commissary Agency.
Our projects have ranged in scale from several thousand to several million dollars and complexity from basic carpentry to steam tie ins, Fire Alarm installations and communication installations involving fiber optic cable splicing. All projects, especially design-build, are delivered with a best value approach. We strive to identify the needs of the customer and then build to a budget that does not short change quality.
Our office staff has worked hand in hand with the construction team to develop a Company Safety & Health Plan and Quality Control Plan that is implemented on every project and meets the criterion of all inspecting agencies. We have provided our clients with product submittals, test reports, O&M data and schedules on a consistently timely basis.
